The lizard brain is the reason you're afraid, the reason you don't do all the art you can, the reason you don't ship when you can. The lizard brain is the source of the resistance.
The secret to being wrong isn't to avoid being wrong! The secret is being willing to be wrong. The secret is realizing that wrong isn't fatal.
Persistence isn't using the same tactics over & over. Persistence is having the same goal over & over.
Instead of wondering when your next vacation is, maybe you should set up a life you don't need to escape from.
If it scares you, it might be a good thing to try.
I think you have to have the discipline to have the life you want to have. And if you are stealing from one part of your life in order to make the other part work, you are going to pay for it. |
